Skiing
110 kilometers of slopes are waiting for you in our nearest ski area: Nassfeld. The wide and well-prepared slopes are amazing for any level.
A shuttle bus will take you directly from the hotel to the gondel in the valley. We can organize ski courses and instructors for you on request.
Ice skating
Every year, natural ice is only found in one place in Carinthia: Lake Weissensee. This turquoise blue mountain lake transforms into the largest place for ice skating every winter in Carinthia.
Whether you explore the ice in a horse-drawn carriage or on foot, you will be in a beautiful idyllic setting.
Cross country skiing
If you love cross country skiing, in region Nassfeld-Presseggersee, you are in the right place. The cross-country skiing network stretches over 300 kilometres, past massive mountain ranges or glittering lakes.
If you just want to try it or if you are a beginner, we have a small cross-country ski trail directly at the house. Our trainer Peter will be happy to show you the right technique.
Ski tours
The region around our Karnische Hof is a ski tour paradise. In the Julian, Carnic or Gailtal Alps, tours for every skill and fitness level are waiting for you.
On request, guests can take part in guided tours or enjoy the nature with snowshoes on, so you are able to walk through a winter wonderland full of snow.
